What I Can Do for You
GROOMING
At Adventure Paws we have a strong background in breed standard trims, cute and practical pet trims, and offer hand stripping for sporting and terrier breeds. Feel free to bring pictures of what you are envisioning for your pet and we will do our best to make it happen!
EAR PLUCKING AND CLEANING
All bath and haircut packages will include ear plucking and cleaning. If needed, you may be referred to a vet if the ears look infected, in which case this service will not be preformed for the safety of the pet.
DESHEDDING
Tired of sweeping/vacuuming every single day? We get it! We offer a range of services to maximize the amount of undercoat removal and minimize shedding for as long as possible. These services can be quite time consuming, so additional charges may apply for pets not on a regular grooming schedule.
NAIL TRIM AND DREMEL
Tired of hearing click click click all day and night? Are you worried about you pet scratching you, a loved one, or your floors and furniture? No problem! Every pet will get their nails trimmed and all dogs will additionally get them dremeled so that the nails will be as short as they safely can be and will be substantially more smooth.
COLOR AND CREATIVE GROOMING
Looking for something funky and fun to set your pet apart? We offer a range of color options and fun designs so that you and your pet can stand out. Great for holiday celebrations or just something fun and different!

My name is Kayla Haddix, and I am the owner of Adventure Paws Pet Grooming. This business was established in April 18th, 2022 with the goal of providing a stress free environment for both cats and dogs, to service all of their grooming needs. Dedicated to my passion and adoration for animal care, I became a professional Pet Groomer in 2015. Ever since, I have been providing loyal and loving pet care and services to the Richmond and Lexington areas and beyond. I also have two years of experience working for a veterinarian, I pride myself on using the skills I’ve acquired through my continued education to assist me in assessing potential health issues, handling pet with special needs or requirements, and practicing safety precautions to prevent potential risks. I pride myself on my patience, kindness and competence — and my clients would agree. It’s why so many of them use my services on a regular basis.
